The story of the Oceane
1976, a simple idea: "Share a piece of your home to spend a family holiday..."
Marie-Jo and Guy therefore decide to create a nature camping, “L’Océane”, on their land.
Through hard work, the campsite grows and develops, always in the same spirit of conviviality.
2007 and 2009 saw the accidental deaths of the creators, and the continuation of this philosophy by their two sons, Stéphane and Philippe, who have always been immersed in the adventure.
Since then, we have done everything possible to ensure that L'Océane is recognized 4-star campsite in the Landes regionwith the desire to preserve an authentic place, while remaining a quiet campsite.
2013, the third star and the label quality camping come to reward the collaborative work, the continuity of a simple idea: "...spending family holidays in a nature camping… ”
In 2018, the campsite acquired its fourth star.
